Microsoft: Apple Legal asked us to stop Laptop Hunters Ads

Apparently, Apple's Legal team has asked Microsoft to stop running the laptop hunters ads. They are inaccurate and misleading according to Apple, and since the ads have ran Apple has lowered their prices. Man, I dunno...this kind of makes Apple look like a bunch of cry babies. It not like Apple doesn't do similar things.

However, we don't know entire story here. Coming from Microsoft, I'm sure they modified their story a little....

I was hoping more for an ad campaign showdown! One of Apple's most recent ads was a good start:

I agree with you in that it makes Apple look like a bunch of cry babies. Who would even think of calling a company and saying, hey can you please stop advertising your products? No excuses here, if the call happened, even if it's exaggerated I think Apple are easily making themselves look bad here.

If I were Apple's ad agency I would have ran an ad that basically states "Microsoft has to buy their own product." end of game.
